Delivery Options

First Class Recorded Delivery means an item is sent using First Class postage, with the added security of requiring the recipient's signature upon delivery to prove it was received. It includes proof of postage, an online delivery confirmation, and compensation cover for loss or damage, with a next working day delivery aim. It is not a fully "tracked" service, though online confirmation is provided. 

Next working day delivery is a service that dispatches an order today for delivery the next business day, which is Monday through Friday. It typically has a cut-off time for placing the order the previous day, and the specific cut-off time varies by carrier and service. For a guaranteed next-day delivery, services often require a signature and may include additional costs or specific postcode restrictions. 

Highlands/Islands delivery is a shipping service to remote areas of Scotland and other islands that has longer delivery times than standard UK mainland delivery due to logistical challenges. Typical services are not "next day" and may take 2-5 working days, or longer, depending on the carrier and the remoteness of the address. Some couriers have specific postcodes they define as Highlands and Islands for shipping purposes, such as postcodes starting with AB, FK, HS, IV, KA, KW, PA, PH, or ZE for the Scottish Highlands and Islands. 

EU Delivery refers to the transportation of goods, parcels, and services between member states of the European Union (EU) and is defined by the EU's single market, which allows for the free movement of goods, people, services, and capital. For shipments between EU countries, this often means simplified customs processes without the need for commercial invoices or duties, though some highly regulated goods may still require extra documentation. However, for deliveries originating from outside the EU, such as the UK, customs declarations, potential duties, and taxes may apply, and the recipient might have to pay them.
