CSI Airsoft specializes in crafting futuristic style AEGs and their XR-5 series seemingly comes straight out of a Sci-Fi movie or video game like Halo or District 9! The rifles parts are injection-molded and uniquely designed. These parts can be swapped out and mixed and matched with others to give you the desired look!

Each XR-5 comes slightly different due to its setup. Though they all feature Picatinny rail for the mounting of optics, lights, lasers, and different grips, different guns come with a different combination of handguards, front ends, and stocks. As previously mentioned, different parts and accessories are interchangeable with the different XR-5s, making the possibilities endless in terms of how you want your rifle to be set up!

Internally the XR-5 is based on the version 2 gearbox and is compatible with standard M4 AEG magazines. The Hop-up dial is found inside the chamber and all controls are exactly where standard M4 controls are placed. The battery compartment is front-wired and can be accessed by removing the handguard, the connector is a small Tamiya type. Threading is 14mm CCW.
